You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Parents may authorize their children to use the platform in a supervised, limited manner. You agree that any information you provide is accurate and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. HackSanta is not liable for any activity conducted through your account if it is accessed without your permission.

You agree not to:

HackSanta provides an entertainment-based experience where families can interact with fictional Naughty and Nice lists, connect with trusted adults, link limited child-list cards, and create gift registries. You agree to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes and not to misuse its features for malicious, deceptive, or unlawful purposes.

You retain ownership of names, photos, messages, notes, gift information, and other content you submit. You grant HackSanta a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service and to carry out the sharing choices you make.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content, including authority to provide information about a child and permission to upload or share photos. Do not submit sensitive information that is unnecessary for the Christmas experience.

You may not:

Signed-in users can search for other account holders by display name, view limited account profile information, send and respond to family connection requests, and receive suggestions based on mutual accepted connections. Email addresses are not displayed in account-search results or on profiles visited through account search. Only connect with people you know and trust.

Accepting a family connection automatically links limited child-list cards between the connected accounts. Each recipient may see the other account's family child names, list status, profile photo or avatar, and display name. Additional child and toy details remain excluded from the connected card unless the Service clearly states otherwise.

You are responsible for choosing appropriate recipients and for having authority to share a child's information. Either adult may remove the family connection to end future in-app access. Recipients must not copy, republish, or use connected child information outside the intended private family experience without the responsible adult's permission.

Hiding a connected child changes only the recipient's dashboard view and does not delete or modify the owner's record. Ending access cannot retrieve copies or screenshots another person previously made outside HackSanta.

A gift registry is available to anyone who has its unique share link, even without a HackSanta account. The link is designed to be difficult to guess, but it can be forwarded or copied. You are responsible for sharing it only with intended recipients and for keeping sensitive information out of registry names, descriptions, gift notes, and images.

Registry owners may add, edit, reorder, and remove gifts; clear reservation statuses; delete registries; and regenerate a share link to invalidate the prior URL. These actions do not erase information or screenshots that another person saved outside HackSanta.

Visitors may mark an available gift as reserved by providing a name. A reservation is only a coordination signal: it is not a purchase, contract, payment, guarantee, or transfer of ownership. Visitors should reserve gifts honestly and should not interfere with another person's reservation or attempt to manipulate registry status.

HackSanta does not buy, sell, ship, fulfill, or return registry products and is not a party to transactions between registry participants and retailers. Registry owners and visitors are responsible for verifying products, prices, availability, taxes, shipping, returns, safety, suitability, and duplicate-purchase risk.

When a product link is added, HackSanta may retrieve and display information supplied by the linked website, such as a title, image, retailer, or price. That information may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or changed by the third party, and HackSanta does not guarantee it.

Third-party websites, retailers, products, and services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. A link or product preview does not mean HackSanta endorses or guarantees the third party. You access and transact with third parties at your own discretion and risk.

All content on the site - including text, images, logos, icons, and software - is the property of HackSanta or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

This section does not transfer ownership of user content to HackSanta.

Certain features of HackSanta may require payment. Premium access is offered as an automatically renewing annual subscription unless a checkout page or written offer states otherwise. Before checkout, we disclose the subscription price, renewal timing, and cancellation terms.

By purchasing a subscription, you agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize HackSanta and its payment processor to charge your payment method for the initial subscription term, applicable taxes, and future renewals until you cancel.

You may cancel future renewals at any time from your account page. Cancellation stops the next renewal charge, and paid access continues until the end of the current paid billing period unless we state otherwise or applicable law requires a different result.

Payments are generally non-refundable after purchase, including for unused time in a billing period, except where required by law, where a charge was made in error or duplicated, or where HackSanta chooses to provide a refund in its discretion.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information. Your use of HackSanta is subject to that policy and the privacy choices described there.

The HackSanta Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.

Your continued use of HackSanta after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms. For material changes related to subscriptions, renewal terms, cancellation, or billing, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
